WELCOME TO HIGHLY EVOLVED
I know I know, you're probably thinking, "Good lorddddd that is the most unoriginal title ever." Actually, as I was searching for Vines sites, all I could see were "The Vines Unofficial UK Site Translated in Chinese" and what not, so I decided to name it after their album. Naming it after one song would not catch all the aspects of the band. Speaking of the band, this site is dedicated to quite possibly one of the greatest bands there are, The Vines. Their music is wonderful and very inspiring. I fell in love with their music over the summer of 2002 and eventually, it led to this web site. This site is more focused on Craig, however, because he is possibly my greatest influence and a huge inspiration to me. From the way he performs, to his views on music to the band's music and his passion for creating music/art..etc. It's great. I didn't want to make another site dedicated to just one person (Like my Rivers site) so I decided to cover the entire band. Anyway, kick back, relax and hope you enjoy the site.

Get Valentine's Day cards from The Vines and Franz!
And they're for a good cause

The Vines, Franz Ferdinand, The Magic Numbers and The Subways have all made unique Valentine's Day cards for a new PETA campaign.

The stars all contributed to help out the animal rights organisations' 'Have a Heart for Animals' campaign.

The Vines' card is signed by all the band members, with drawings of animals, including a fish, a rabbit and a lion, as well as the band's logo. Franz Ferdinand's card is also a joint effort, with signatures from the band appearing alongside drawings of dogs.

PETA campaign co-ordinator Anita Singh said: "These big-hearted stars are helping us spread the simple message that we should all act with kindness towards animals."

She added: "Whether a pig or a dog, a mouse or a whale, all animals have the same capacity to feel, and we hope people will extend their circle of compassion to include all animals."

Holy Shit.
I am out of The Vines loop for a week and bam! All these crazy awesome things happen. One, new Vines song: Gross Out, played on Zane Lowe. (Skip 15 min in and wait a bit. It's short, sweet and great fun.) Their album IS NOW COMPLETE and will be called VISION VALLEY. Also, DTI is now the official Vines fan club! :) New photos and what not on that page. Yayyyyyyyy!

THE ALBUM IS DONE
“This is the best part of making an album! It’s the best part” cried Craig triumphantly as the new album was mastered in Sydney just a few short days ago. The very next day the band all huddled around the radio in Sydney to hear Gross Out played on the radio for the first time, following on from Zane Lowe’s double play in London on Wednesday night – we’ve always liked that nice Zane you know. It sounded great on the radio, hats off Wayne.
